Treatment of gum inflammation, periodontitis and gum recession

with careful diagnostics and individual aftercare.

Healthy gums

are the foundation for healthy teeth.

Periodontology deals with the tooth-supporting apparatus – that is, the gums, bone and tissues that support your teeth. Diseases of these structures can lead to tooth loss over the long term, yet often go unnoticed for a long time.
That is why every periodontal treatment at Speerdent begins with a careful diagnosis and an individual treatment and aftercare concept.

Your gums are showing changes

Detect early. Treat specifically.

Preserve long term.

Periodontal diseases often develop gradually. The earlier they are detected, the better inflammation can be controlled and existing structures preserved.
That is why we carry out a comprehensive examination before every treatment. This includes assessing the gums, measuring any gum pockets and – if necessary – additional X-rays.
Based on these findings, we draw up an individual treatment plan. In doing so, we take into account both the current condition and your personal risk factors and needs.

La malattia parodontale si manifesta in modi diversi, con gravità che vanno dall’infiammazione iniziale alle forme avanzate con perdita di tessuti. La diagnosi stabilisce il percorso di cura

Treatment of periodontitis

Periodontitis also affects the deeper structures of the tooth-supporting apparatus and, if left untreated, can lead to the loss of bone and teeth.
Suitable for: gum recession, loose teeth, deeper gum pockets or recurring inflammation.

Treatment of gum recession

Exposed tooth necks can cause sensitivity and affect aesthetics. Depending on the situation, various treatment options are available.
Suitable for: sensitive tooth necks, exposed root surfaces or aesthetically disturbing gum recession.

Which treatment makes sense depends on the exact diagnosis.
