Careful diagnostics

before every procedure.

A tooth extraction or an oral surgery procedure should always be based on a sound diagnosis. That is why, before every treatment, we carefully examine what options are available and whether the affected tooth can be preserved.
If an extraction is necessary, we accompany you from planning to aftercare with a clearly structured treatment concept.

You are in pain or

would like to understand a treatment better.

Many patients come to us because they:
Often one central question is at the forefront: Is an extraction really necessary or is there an alternative?
Have you been recommended a tooth extraction?
We are happy to advise you in person.

Tooth preservation when possible.

Extraction when necessary.

Our goal is to preserve natural teeth for as long as possible. That is why, before every procedure, we carefully examine which treatment options are available.
If a tooth can no longer be preserved due to severe damage, a fracture, advanced inflammation or other reasons, we plan the extraction individually and explain the next steps to you in an understandable and transparent way.

Which treatment

makes sense is determined by the diagnosis.

La chirurgia orale dello studio si concentra sulle estrazioni, dalle più semplici a quelle complesse. Qui sotto le due tipologie che pratichiamo. Per ognuna esiste un percorso specifico, deciso solo dopo la valutazione clinica.

Tooth extraction

Removal of a tooth that can no longer be preserved due to caries, fractures, inflammation or other damage.
Suitable for: teeth not worth preserving with a poor prognosis.

Removal of wisdom teeth

Wisdom teeth can cause discomfort, promote inflammation or affect neighbouring teeth. Whether removal makes sense is assessed individually.
Suitable for: inflamed, displaced or problematic wisdom teeth.

Which treatment is suitable for you can only be reliably assessed after an examination.

Step by step

to treatment

Scroll and discover the steps

01
Initial examination and diagnostics
We discuss your symptoms and examine the affected tooth or jaw area. A current X-ray is the basis for every treatment decision. It shows the situation of the tooth root, bone and surrounding structures and helps us to assess whether a tooth can be preserved or which treatment is indicated.
02
Diagnosis and treatment planning
We explain the findings, possible treatment options and the recommended procedure to you. You receive a transparent cost estimate.
03
The procedure
Most procedures are carried out under local anaesthesia and can be performed on an outpatient basis.
04
Aftercare instructions
You receive clear instructions for the time after the procedure as well as recommendations on nutrition, oral hygiene and pain management.
05
Check-up and aftercare
If necessary, we check the wound healing and accompany you until the end of the healing phase.

The first step

is a thorough examination.

Are you in pain, do you have symptoms in the area of a wisdom tooth or questions about a recommended treatment?
We take time for a careful diagnosis and explain to you in an understandable way what options are available in your situation.
