An examination to get to know and
understand each other.
The first examination serves to assess your current oral health and to get to know your concerns. At the same time, you have the opportunity to get to know our practice, our way of working and Dr. Gatti personally.
Depending on the situation, the examination includes:
● Discussion of your medical history and your concerns
● Clinical examination of teeth, gums and oral cavity
● Assessment of existing X-ray images
● If necessary, digital X-ray images or intraoral scan
● Explanation of the findings in understandable language
● Discussion of possible treatment options If treatment is necessary, you will receive a transparent treatment plan with the recommended steps and the anticipated costs.

How much does the first examination cost?
A clearly defined tariff applies to the first examination. We are happy to tell you the exact costs already when booking the appointment.
Is treatment already carried out during the first examination?
As a rule, the first appointment serves for examination, diagnostics and consultation. In the case of acute complaints or emergencies, a first measure can – if medically sensible – already be taken.
Can I bring existing X-ray images?
Yes. Existing X-ray images help us to better assess your situation. If additional or more recent images are necessary, we will discuss this with you.
I am afraid of the dentist. Is that a problem?
No. Please let us know. We take time for your concerns and arrange the appointment in a calm atmosphere and without time pressure.
How long does the first examination take?
Depending on the question and the necessary diagnostics, the appointment usually takes between 30 and 60 minutes.
